Building on the success of the popular AT-LP60XBT, the AT-LP70XBT retains the same easy setup, fully automatic operation, and convenient Bluetooth wireless output that has made it a favorite among beginners, while offering meaningful upgrades in build quality, design, and overall sound performance. A redesigned three-piece chassis helps minimize mechanical resonance, while the J-shaped tonearm enhances tracking accuracy for cleaner, more stable playback. The turntable is equipped with an integrated AT-VM95 dual moving-magnet cartridge featuring a replaceable and upgradeable VMN95C conical stylus. It supports both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records, making it suitable for a wide range of vinyl collections.
In addition to Bluetooth wireless connectivity with aptX compatibility, the AT-LP70XBT includes a built-in, switchable phono preamp. This allows direct connection to powered speakers, home stereos, and other audio components, whether or not they have a dedicated phono input.
Unlike most turntables with fixed cartridges, the AT-VM95 platform offers multiple stylus upgrade options. Along with the included AT-VM95C conical stylus, users can easily upgrade to the separately available AT-VMN95E elliptical bonded, AT-VMN95EN elliptical nude, AT-VMN95ML microlinear, or AT-VMN95SH Shibata stylus to further enhance sound performance.
