The AT-VMx series elevates premium dual moving magnet cartridges with added warmth, detail, and realism for engaging vinyl playback. Dual magnets aligned to the stereo groove mirror the cutter head geometry, delivering excellent tracking, wide frequency response, and precise channel separation. Upgrades such as high-purity copper coils, fewer coil turns, a paratoroidal generator, and a center shield plate reduce crosstalk and sharpen transient response for a clean, stable stereo image. An elliptical nude stylus on an aluminum cantilever extracts nuance with control, while a low-resonance polymer body preserves clarity.
